MUST HAVE FOOD SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Part-time position at a small, fast-growing, woman-owned wine and cheese bar/bistro. This position is a combination food server/cheese monger (people generally tip the cheesemonger). Obviously, you must love cheese and be willing to learn all about it. We will provide training materials and hands-on training, as well as unlimited cheese tastings.
You must have basic wine knowledge and the desire to learn more.
It can be fast-paced and demanding at times and you need to be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks at once. We pride ourselves on providing stellar customer service. A great attitude is also a must! We are growing quickly and are looking for a committed team member who wants to grow with us. We also love innovators and people who bring great ideas to the table! As a new business, everyone, including the owner, jumps in where needed including doing dishes, and we expect the same of any new hires.
We are looking for someone to work 10-20 hours a week for now on Friday day shift, Saturday night shift (till 10:30 pm) and Sunday day shift) with more shifts added in the coming months.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is a must!
Pay is $16 an hour + tips.

Must haves:
1) 1 year of food service experience
2) basic wine knowledge
3) understanding of fractions (1 pound, ¾ pound, ½ pound, ¼ pound)
5) MUST be able to multi-task and be flexible.
6) Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
7) Knowledge of and ability to adhere to workplace safety procedures
8) Ability to lift 20 pounds
4) Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
9) ServeSafe Certification
10) Must be okay with washing dishes as sidework
Most importantly, must love cheese and wine!
