Summary: The Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. They also keep the dish-room and equipment clean and organized.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
· Keep dishwasher clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately
· Monitors water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
· Washes pots, pans and trays by hand
· Sets up or breaks down dishwashing area
· Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware
· Keep dish room clean and organized
· Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
· Wipes up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry at all times
· Bags and hauls trash to dumpster at designed times
· Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
· Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
· Cleans food preparation and production areas as required
· Available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Club as directed by the supervisor
· Maintains cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment
· Preps assigned items and recipes
· Measures and assembles ingredients
· Reports injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor
· Other general cleaning duties as directed
