We are looking for Event Staff in the LA area for client events. These positions are full-time and the schedule is M-F all day shifts. These positions are on corporate campuses - NOT restaurants. The shift may have you start at one location and and go to another.
Sous Chef -
This position supports the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
Prep Cook -
This position is responsible for preparing food items and serving customers while adhering to health and safety regulations. This role requires strong culinary skills, a focus on quality and efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Line Cook/Grill Cook -
This position is a vital member of the client's kitchen team, responsible for preparing and cooking specific dishes or working a designated station during service. They follow recipes, manage food preparation, cook items to order, and ensure proper plating and timely delivery of food to the customer.
Deli Cook -
This position prepares and serves a variety of cold food items, including sandwiches, salads, and other deli specialties, following established recipes and procedures. They are responsible for tasks like slicing meats and cheeses, preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper food storage and handling.
Dishwasher -
Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes.
Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware by hand or using a dishwasher.
Load and unload dishwashing machines.
Sort and store cleaned items.
Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Keep the dish area clean, orderly, and free of clutter.
Maintain clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
Set up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
Remove trash and maintain loading and receiving areas in a safe and clean condition.
Stock plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
Catering Attendants -
Event Preparation: Ride with an internal employee in a catering truck to functions, assemble and deliver food and supplies, set up tables, decorations, and buffet displays according to standards.
Event Service: Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring friendly and courteous service. Maintain knowledge of menu items and products on hand.
Event Cleanup: Thoroughly clean the event area during and after the event, breaking down setups and ensuring the area is left neat and clean.
Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Return leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner. Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
Food Safety: Log and maintain food temperatures and follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Bartenders -
Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with liquor laws, while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, mixing drinks, checking IDs, handling cash, managing inventory, and performing general cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of quality and safety.
Servers -
Providing a positive guest experience by warmly greeting customers, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, answering questions about menu items, and processing payments accurately. Servers are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety, communicating with kitchen staff, handling customer complaints, and performing assigned "side work" and setup duties to ensure an enjoyable and efficient dining experience.
