Bar Manager Qualification/Requirements:

- Must have at least 3 years of experience as bar manager with references.

- Must have strong knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management and staff supervision.

- Maintain professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the company standards.

- Knowledge of state and local alcohol regulations and laws as it applies to liquor, labor, and health code regulations.

- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.

- Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills.

- College degree preferred

- 21+

- Valid Driver’s License

- Proof of eligibility to work in United States

Bar Manager Responsibilities:

o Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and barbacks. This includes creating work schedules, conducting performance evaluations, maintain employee files, and addressing any staffing issues or conflicts.

o Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and conduct thorough walkthroughs for each shift, ensuring proper daily operations (using opening and closing checklists), This includes managing inventory, ordering supplies, and coordinating with vendors.

o Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service by training staff in customer interaction, handling customer complaints or issues, respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude, record and maintaining complaint/incident files, and maintaining a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons.

o Financial Management: Managing the bar's finances, including budgeting, cost control, and monitoring sales and expenses. This may also involve analyzing financial reports and implementing strategies to increase profitability.

o Menu Development: Collaborating with the kitchen or chef to create and update the bar menu, including selecting and pricing beverages, creating signature cocktails, and staying updated on industry trends.

o Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including alcohol service laws, health and safety regulations, and employment laws. This may involve obtaining necessary licenses and permits, conducting staff training on responsible alcohol service, and maintaining proper record-keeping.

o Marketing and Promotion: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract customers, increase sales, promote special events or promotions, and coordinate with events manager for special events needs. This may involve social media management, coordinating with PR agencies, and organizing special events or themed nights.

o Business Development: Working closely with the owner or management team to develop and execute business strategies, set goals, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the bar.

Bartender/Shift Lead - Qualification/Requirements:

- Must have at least 3 years of experience as bartender with references.

- Must have strong knowledge of bar operations and inventory management.

- Must have cash handling/POS experience

Bartender/Shift Lead - Responsibilities:

- Create and pour cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and other nonalcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.

- Ensure timely and accurate input of orders in POS

- Opening and closing bar/lounge area following company’s opening and closing procedure.

- Maintain bar cleanliness by bussing and washing dishes.

- Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success. Ensure the bar, refrigerators, storage, and walk-ins are organized and fully equipped with all tools and products. Prepare pre-mixes and garnishes. - Monitor draught beer lines and soda dispensers, changing kegs and syrups as needed.

- Manage and stock inventory.

- Maintain glassware and liquor bottles and bar are in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promote company’s cocktails.

- Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment. It's Your Business.

- Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar. This may include nights, weekends and holidays

- Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol sales in accordance with state law.

- Follow all safe alcohol handling procedures in accordance with state law.

- Recruiting, training, and motivating staff/employee reprimands

- Maintaining hospitality standard and customer service

- Training staff on company policy and procedures including cash handling, incident reporting, suspicious activity reporting and state/local laws.

- Understand and manage costs in the restaurant, including receiving product, entering invoices, overseeing inventories and daily spending.

- Cocktail/menu item development for seasonal and trend changes.

- Take role in absence of bar manager.

- Create and develop and take part in short and long term strategies contributing to the increase in bar revenue.

- Seeking out latest trends and products in industry and sharing with management.

- All other duties as assigned by the F&B Managers.
