Breaducation LLC is a growing company that produces breakfast baked items for child nutrition programs. Breaducation provides clean label from scratch products for K-12 schools, head start programs and community organizations. We are looking for a Baker to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete all tasks as handed down by the head baker and all supervisors
Weigh, measure, mix, bake,cut, package and otherwise prepare all foods to continue service and for next day’s service
Label, date, and organize all prepped food in proper storage areas.
Keep the kitchen area, service area, and storage area clean and organized.
Keep track of ingredient inventory and communicate with appropriate personnel to keep par.
Maintain quality control and high levels of communication with all team members
Requirements:
Must be able to push and lift up to 50 lbs.
Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications:
General kitchen and baking experience

This position is part time, Monday through Friday. Potentially starting as early as 6a and ending by 3p (exact schedule will be determined by production needs). There are opportunities for growth. We are centrally located in Vernon with easy access to public transportation.
Our calendar follows the school year and summer programs, with adjusted work hours during the holidays and summer months.
Rate of pay is hourly, ranging $18-$19 based on experience.
