TECHNICAL SALES CONSULTANT - PAYMENTSWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?We are looking for a dynamic, solutions oriented professional with a strong Treasury and Payments background and a deep understanding of the sales cycles of commercial and mid-corporate clients. This individuual will work closely with the Treasury Management sales team, product managers, implementation teams and others, to engage customers and prospects to advance the team's sales efforts. Serves as a product and process subject matter expert providing sales and technical support required and related to treasury and payment products and services. Actively engages in the calling program for prospects and customer sales calls performing consultative evaluations to assess customer treasury and payment needs. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships and providing deep technical and product/process expertise around payments.What you will do
Participates in calling program for prospects and on customer sales calls with sales officers and/or bankers accessing needs.
Develops new business, expands existing business and promotes all treasury and payment services.
Assesses and validates client business needs (i.e. current process and future desired process) through a consultative evaluation with minimal assistance.
Conducts product/solution demonstrations via webinar and in-person Some travel will be required. Develops complete customer solution recommendation for supported products.
Documents detailed tasks to include technical components for implementation teams.
Communicates customer requirements to implementation team, technology groups, and product management as required.
Participates in implementation kickoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition and a detailed understanding of the sale is gained all participants.
Works with customers and product management to identify potential product enhancements and advance new product ideas, as needed.
Works effectively with product managers, treasury management sales representatives and management to develop complete customer solutions.
Supports sales events and trade shows as requested.
Provides subject-matter-expertise and remains current on internal and external Treasury and Payment developments and innovations for supported technical products.
Focuses internal and external conversation on industry changes, business issues, best practices and benchmarking.
Understands what is changing and possesses sufficient industry knowledge to make suggestions and recommendations.
May serve in the role of team lead/player-coach to orient, train or review the work of less experienced Technical Sales Consultants.
Must-Have
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 7 years of cash management sales experience in a financial services environment required.
Minimum 4 years experience in managing/supporting medium to large account relationships required
Skills and Knowledge
Experience selling cards or cards related payments solutions into commercial or business enterprises.
Knowledge of sales techniques and principles to effectively market treasury management services.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to gather, arranges, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify sales opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions.
Ability to set priorities, objectives and goals.

CompensationStarting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
