With nearly 30 years of archival content, and more offenses happening every day, we are creating a new digital destination to unite armchair detectives across the country as we dive deeper into the world of True Crime.As part of our expansion into genre reporting, Sinclair Digital is looking for an experienced Supervising Producer to join our Criminally Obsessed team and oversee the development and production of original documentary style short-form and social programming focused on the murders, the mysteries, and the mayhem that have captivated our nation over the last 50 years. In this role, you and your team will take a deep dive into our station’s robust archives and unearth the must-be-told stories that will captivate true crime enthusiasts and bring them to life in all mediums. To be successful in this role you must have a passion for true crime content, an extensive background creating investigative content, and a dedication to accuracy that will lead us to become a trusted source in the industry. The ability to lead and motivate a team is must.RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with Sinclair stations to research and identify historical true crime stories for potential coverages.

Lead the team in developing and executing unique content plans targeted at the various (YouTube, Facebook, IG, X, Reddit, etc) and their various creative mediums (photo, video, audio, etc)

Oversee the production and delivery of all approved digital programming, as well as any supporting materials necessary to ensure success.

Collaborate with Regional Digital Content Team to identify and amplify existing stories.

Ensure all content aligns with the brand aesthetic, established tone of voice, and follows journalistic best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

7-10 years developing/producing documentary style true crime content.

3-5 years leadership experience overseeing teams in a development/production

Social Media expert with extensive familiarity with all platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other production tools.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and in person.

Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and motivate team; willingness to delegate responsibilities and ability to effectively lead

Let’s talk.The base salary compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
