DescriptionUnder the direction of the Investigators and ResearchNurse, the Student Researcher will assist in the coordination of all researchactivities. They will serve as the primary data and regulatory manager forclinical and translational research projects under The PI in the Department ofPediatrics, Division of Allergy & Immunology. Primaryresponsibilities include but are not limited to data entry using electronicsystems such as Medidata, Redcap or similar programs, and preparation of casereport forms, and other tools to collect study data. The Student Researcherwill manage regulatory functions which will include maintaining all regulatoryfiles, submission of regulatory records to sponsor agencies, submissions to thelocal and central IRB's, regular correspondence with the sponsors and CRO'S,participation in weekly meetings in person or over Zoom. Other duties includepatient diary review and related reporting of adverse events. The StudentResearcher will correspond with Investigational Drug Pharmacy and may assistwith picking up investigational drugs for delivery to the CTRC (ClinicalTranslational Research Center). The Student Researcher may assist in review ofresearch billing and subject reimbursement, and may also assist in the handlingand shipping of biological specimens.
