Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a temporary to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Los Angeles, California. The selected individual will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks in a hybrid work environment, alternating between remote and in-office settings. This role involves managing financial records, handling payroll journal entries, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.Responsibilities: Oversee the management of invoice accruals and prepaid accounting to maintain precise financial records. Carry out payroll journal entries to ensure meticulous recording of personnel-related expenses. Participate in day-to-day corporate accounting activities to uphold the financial health of the organization. Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to guarantee timely and accurate transactions. Conduct bank reconciliations to match internal financial records with external bank statements, rectifying discrepancies promptly. Handle general ledger duties and month-end close procedures. Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient operations. Maintain accuracy in customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential Familiarity with General Ledger management is required Capability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is necessary Should have experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite for accounting tasks is expected Proficiency in Oracle for managing financial data is required Experience with QuickBooks for financial management is beneficial Familiarity with SAP for business operations and customer relations is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
