A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.The Senior Risk Analyst supporting Global Corporate & Investment Banking/ Transaction Banking products in a First Line of Defense (FLoD) role. The responsibilities of this role will include coordination with FLOD and SLOD teams in the identification, assessment and monitoring of all product and service delivery risks and controls. This includes business-specific risks, monitoring, and testing within the established governance framework to ensure all regulatory matters related to products and services are properly assessed, monitored in tested to the satisfaction of Second Line of Defense (SLoD) and our regulators.The key responsibilities include:Review and enhance product and service delivery procedures and policies and assist TBA product managers in complying and creating a sustainable BAU operating environment.Establish monitoring protocols; manage process changes or enhancements while developing on-going testing criteria, trigger framework, quality assurance process, and test plans for business-specific risks.Assess results and provide data reporting to management.Review and clarify process flows. Identify gaps and lead teams to formulate and agree to action plans.Work with SLoD to clarify procedures and processes and organize teams to execute required deliverables.Work closely with Product managers to create accurate and timely reporting of significant and emerging risks and controls with insight to identify risk trends and/or symptoms of process control breakdowns.Assist the team in building and maintaining product and service risk assessments, risk and control self-assessments risks, and significant risks, and managing control deficiency remediation.Support issue management and remediation efforts related to products.QualificationsTypically requires a BA or BS degree plus 5+ years in operational risk management or related role.Requires an understanding of operational risk management techniques, including development of process flows, identification and assessment of risks and controls, testing and monitoring procedures.Ability to analyze risk trends, identify signs of changing risk levels and/or symptoms of process control breakdowns.Strong problem solving and program execution skills.Ability to lead meetings and facilitate resolution of differing views.Experience in financial institutions is desired.Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience dealing with SLoD and Audit a plus.Candidate with any experience working with external regulators a plus.Project management skills a plusThe typical base pay range for this role is between $115K–$150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
