Description We are seeking a Sr. Grant Accountant to join our team in the Non Profit industry, based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations as well as other general ledger tasks. Responsibilities include: Handling account reconciliation with attention to detail and accuracy. Conducting balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. Processing bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Managing general ledger activities and updating as necessary. Preparing journal entries and maintaining the accuracy of financial data. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. Gaining proficiency in NetSuite for various accounting tasks. Proficiency in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries is essential. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required. The role necessitates experience in performing Month End Close tasks. Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is a significant advantage. A proven track record as a Sr. Grant Accountant in the Professional Services industry is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Must abide by strict confidentiality and data protection policies. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. Professional certification such as CPA is a plus. Must have legal right to work in the location of the job without requiring sponsorship.
