Our companys leading wine brands include Stella Rosa, San Antonio, San Simeon, Maddalena, and Highlands 41.San Antonio Winery is looking to hire seasonal Full Time and Part Time positions for our outdoor dining experience at 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro. We are seeking applicants with Chef, Sous Chef, Line Cook or Prep Cook experience. Successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction for our Bistro. Experience in Grill, Pizzas, Salads, and Antipasti are a plus. This is a perfect summer position for hospitality/culinary students, or if you are seeking part time employment. Responsibilities: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.Clean up the station and take care of leftover food.Stock inventory appropriately.Ensures consistency of recipes and taste standards while maintaining established flavor profiles and correct protein temperatures.Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Communicate any quality issues or general issues to Head Chef/Owners as needed.Able to work in a high volume and fast paced environment. Qualifications: Proven cooking experience, minimum of 3 yearsProven prep/cooking experience is preferred, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, sous chef, prep cook.Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Accuracy and speed in assigned tasks.High degree of reliability and availabilityThis location is open Thursday-Sunday and requires weekend availability.Bilingual in English is preferred but will consider Spanish Speaking only candidates.
