Description We are in search for a dedicated and experienced Collections/Litigation Paralegal to support our law firm client. This role requires mastery in both pre-judgment and post-judgment processes alongside general litigation and trial procedures.Responsibilities:

Performing the complete pre-judgment process, including preparation of various provisional remedies forms and procedures such as writs of attachment, writs of possession, receiverships, preliminary injunctions, temporary restraining orders, document requests and subpoenas, and related pleadings.

Managing the post-judgment process including preparing pleadings to obtain Assignment orders, Turnover orders, Charging orders, Post Judgment Receiver, Sheriff Execution Sale, Garnishments, Execution of Judgments, Keepers, and Judgment Debtor Exam Document production.

Participating in the development of strategy for litigation and conducting necessary legal research.

Assisting attorneys in the preparation for trials and court proceedings.

Collecting, reviewing, and managing all physical and electronic documents relevant to the cases in nimble and efficient manner.

Drafting and reviewing various legal documents such as appeals, affidavits, and depositions ensuring that they are accurate and correctly filed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, law, or a related field required. A certificate program in paralegal studies is an advantage.

Proven experience as a collection litigation paralegal or in a similar role.

Comprehensive knowledge of provisional remedies forms and procedures.

Excellent familiarity and experience within post-judgment processes.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively with close attention to detail.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills, enabling clear conveyance and interpretation of legal matters.

General litigation and trial experience a plus.

Proficiency in using legal software and MS Office.
