NOTE: This is an EXTREMELY physical and fast-paced job. Candidate Drivers should be physically fit, experienced with GPS, and able to problem-solve on the go.
As a Delivery Associate for ADD Logistics you will be responsible for the following:
Drive a 10' (or taller), company-provided, cargo van safely. (Training Provided)
Load packages into a van- in an efficient and organized manner. (Training Provided)
Deliver packages to Amazon customers in a safe, timely and professional manner (Training Provided)
Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public while delivering packages to homes, apartments, retail and commercial locations.
Ability to keep up with the physical demands of a high-volume package delivery route.
Perform all duties to department standards and/ or as directed by leadership.
Must adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
Follow safety standards, on and off the road.
Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
Able to use a handheld device and use technology to successfully deliver customer packages, manage the delivery process, and solve on-the-road issues and obstacles.
Able to drive at night and in various weather conditions
We provide paid Driver Safety Training to ensure your success on the road. We only succeed if our drivers succeed!
Applicants:
Must be 21years old
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record for the past 3 years - cannot exceed 2 points on driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check (up to 7 years) and drug test.
Ability to handle a physical workload - Maximum 50lb/ package
We are a 7-day-per-week operation and must be available to work weekends and holidays
Must adhere to a company uniform policy
Must have EXCELLENT time/ attendance habits - MANDATORY
Experience:
Delivery experience is not required, but it's definitely welcomed!
Delivery Driver (example: Lyft, Grub hub, Uber Eats, etc.) experience a plus. (But not required)
Must be comfortable driving a commercial van
Prior forklift experience is a plus. (But not required)
Available Shifts:
Part-Time Variable: Two - Five 8-hour shifts. Hours are 10:05 am to 6:35 pm. Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
License Requirements: Class C License Required
Clean driving record (No accidents or points on your driving record)
Language:
Able to read and speak English
