ACHIEVE-2 is a clinical research study for people with type 2 diabetes who are being treated with metformin.
This study will test how the investigational medicine (a medicine being studied) can help with blood glucose (sugar) levels, compared with an approved type 2 diabetes medicine.
We are specifically looking for volunteers that are Asian descent but any ethnic groups are accepted to join the study as well.
Can I join this study?
Yes, you may be able to join the research study if you:
Are aged 18 years or older
have type 2 diabetes
take at least 1500mg of metformin each day
have blood glucose levels that are not well controlled with your current medications
