Description Robert Half is looking for Jr. Accountants for ongoing opportunities. To be considered for one of our opportunities the Jr. Accountants must be confident in matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable A/P and Accounts Receivable A/R. Our open positions are both contract and contract to permanent. Assist the senior accountant in preparing financial reports, tax returns, and other financial activities.
Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Analyze and review financial data and prepare periodic reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational and fiscal policies and procedures.
Help in auditing financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, and calculate tax payments and returns.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling accounts and figures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
