We are a Hermosa Beach family seeking a nanny + housekeeper for our two young children, our sweet and active 2.5 y/o and our 9 m/o old baby. We've had the same wonderful nanny for two years and sadly, she is moving so we need to find a replacement to start around Mid-July. This is a FULL-TIME 40-hour a week POSITION (slight flexibility on this if you have appointments or a shift on the hours slightly at times for whatever personal reasons).
-Both parents work remotely / hybrid schedule so will often be in and out of the house majority of the day you are here.
-8am - 4pm or 9pm - 5pm M-F is the standard/typical schedule. Some days, slight flexibility is requested as we may need to be in office and leave earlier than expected. (7am a few times a month.) We are truly looking for someone to become part of our family and love our children just like we do.
-There is an option, in the future, after getting to know you well enough, for live-in nanny quarters which would be inclusive of your own private bedroom and bath. The live-in nanny, in theory, could stay at the house Monday – Thursday if accommodating for a longer commute.
-There is also potential of utilizing and paying monthly for our studio apartment which is located less than 10 minutes from our home in Hermosa Beach.

-The additional requirement and ask for this specific position is housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities. 30-35 hours of this role is primary taking care of the children, but the remaining 5-10 hours per week would be cleaning the home; light basic cleaning, vacuuming, dishes, and laundry for example as both parents are working full-time. There is a bi-weekly request to also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our studio apartment. Flexibility in the typical schedule is extremely important for us – IE, shifting into housework or laundry if both kids and family are gone for the day.
-We want someone who can jump in comfortably and quickly with our family dynamic so the person for this position must be patient, kind, and understanding of busy schedules of both parents.
-Must have a valid driver’s license – no plans for you to drive our children anywhere, but this would be required to drive from our home to the studio apartment, for example. The role pays $1200 a week @ 40-hours per week, or $4800 per month – minus the discounted rate for live-in nanny quarters if wanted or discounted rent at the studio apartment.
