Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Interim HR Director to provide strategic and operational HR leadership during a transitional period. The ideal HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR practices align with company objectives and demonstrate adherence to employment laws and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, providing guidance on HR policies and aligning workforce strategies with business goals.
Assess the current HR infrastructure, recommend improvements, and implement systems or policies to support company growth.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, safety guidelines, and equal employment opportunity standards.
Conduct audits and due diligence of HR policies and practices to mitigate risk and improve efficiency, as well as for potential upcoming transactions.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
Oversee the recruitment process for open positions, utilizing strategic methods to attract top talent.
Develop onboarding and retention programs to support employee engagement and career development.
Employee Relations:
Provide leadership in resolving employee relations issues, using appropriate conflict resolution techniques to ensure a positive work environment.
Act as an escalation point for complex employee concerns and deliver sound HR solutions.
Performance Management and Development:
Manage performance evaluation processes and facilitate reviews to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Create training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression opportunities.
HR Systems and Processes:
Evaluate and optimize existing HR processes, including the use of HRIS (e.g., ADP, 15Five) to improve efficiency.
Manage payroll processing in collaboration with the finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Proven track record as an HR leader, with a minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience in a small-to-mid-sized organization (75-150 employees).
Expertise in ADP Workforce Now - Payroll software is necessary
Demonstrated experience with 15Five software is a huge plus
Proven track record in auditing and maintaining financial accuracy
Familiarity with budget processes and financial forecasting
Experience in counseling employees on financial matters and policies
