What you’ll do….Manage the Housekeeping team to ensure guests are well cared for and all bedrooms, public and back of house areas are cleaned to a high standardEnsure that all hotel Standard Operating Procedures are trained and adhered toCoach and develop the team, ensuring that they are well motivated and informedSet objectives for the team to ensure efficiency and cleanliness of all areas of the hotelCarry out regular spot-checks of bedrooms and public areas to ensure that they are well maintained, and cleanliness levels are metEnsure a good relationship is maintained between Housekeeping, Maintenance and Front OfficePro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and proceduresBe fully aware, and competent in, all health and safety procedures and policiesDisplay awareness of departmental costs and ensure that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelinesControl and management of the Housekeeping stock, ensuring all orders are monitoredPlay an active role in projects that involve the development and evolution of the Housekeeping teamConduct statistical analysis for all areas of the Housekeeping teamAchieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractorsBe knowledgeable of the LA Hotel Worker’s Ordinance and any other local regulations that effect the housekeeping employee experience and how the operation needs to be run.
