Description Our non-profit client in downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Data Systems Administrator to join their team on an on-going contract base. This role primarily entails providing administrative support, working on a 6-person team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining an updated Salesforce database, and offering assistance in maintaining data within the platform and Excel spreadsheets. You will report application data. This is part-time, 10-20 hours a week between Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm, remotely. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for the department, addressing general inquiries and assisting in the review of new proposals. Manage project leader requests for support in completing proposals or other work-related inquiries. Maintain and update a Salesforce database that logs project contact information and requests, generating reports as needed. Review and verify timesheets, work charts, and other information to maintain accurate payroll data. Compile and format content for projects including reports, timelines, and other documents. Monitor project timelines and remind internal and external colleagues about deadlines. Input, compile, and analyze registration and evaluation data, adjusting and formatting data sets as necessary. Contribute to team efforts by performing other duties as needed.Requirements Data entry and research background, preferably within a non-profit organization Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, perform complex calculations, and generate reports Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of non-profit organizations High level of discretion and confidentiality, due to the sensitive nature of information handled A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field would be advantageous.
