Accountant

Description We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team based in Los Angeles, California. As our Accountant, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining our general ledger system, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, making it an ideal fit for those looking for long-term career prospects.Responsibilities: Oversee the recording and posting of financial transactions in the company's general ledger system. Ensure accurate reconciliation of account balances and bank statements. Assist in the closing processes at the end of each month and help prepare monthly financial statements. Adhere to internal controls, company policies, and procedures. Analyze financial transactions to ensure their accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with external auditors during audits. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial planning processes. Maintain confidentiality of all financial information. Provide support to other finance projects as required. Use accounting software systems efficiently and effectively. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. Conduct auditing and balance sheet account tasks. Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for accounting functions. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must. Knowledge of Cl Programming is needed. Familiarity with Concur software is essential. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary. Understanding of Accounting Functions is required. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed. Auditing skills are essential. Ability to manage Balance Sheet Account is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role is necessary.
