Responsibilities:
Review bid invitations, select and create bid schedule.
Perform material/labor take-off on screen.
Input material/labor take-off on screen using estimating software.
Create RFIs as needed
Type up and submit proposals on time.
Follow up on past bids.
Review sales proposals for accuracy of product description
Work with pre- established bidding formulas
Estimate the cost of materials required for a project.
Estimate the cost of labor required for a project.
Provide labor and material detail in standard format for all firm pricing.
Managing budgets, estimates, and timelines.
Coordination with project teams; Project Managers, Engineers.
Maintaining client relationships.
Requirements:
2 years or more experience working as a construction estimator (millwork experience a plus)
Able to read plans and specifications.
Familiar with cabinetry and millwork details pricing units
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Etc.)
Experience with “Take off” Software a plus.
