FIRM PROFILE:
RMCA is a medium-size commercial architectural professional firm with 40 years of professional award-winning design experience. We presently have a staff of eleven members and are in the process of designing a new office to serve our needs. Our commercial practice specializes in retail, markets, and offices, and includes both ground-on-up and tenant improvement projects. While most of our work is done here in Southern California, we maintain licenses, and have done work in 7 western states.
SALARY RANGE:
Actual salary will be based on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is not a designer position. Experience in preparing contract documents is the key factor in reviewing a candidate for this position. Working with other experienced members of our firm's team, the individual should be experienced and capable of hands-on preparation of contract documents in AutoCAD format. After a brief period of orientation in our temporary office, the candidate will be expected to work from home for about the next 12 months, while our new office is being designed and constructed. During this time, he will be connected and guided by other members of our team via direct connection to them by phone intercom, internet, and video conferences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should have at least 5 yrs. of working in an architectural office.
Не or she should have a technical focus and experience working with Codes and preparing contract documents in an AutoCAD format. They should have experience with commercial projects, tenant improvements, office and retail projects.
This position requires the ability to work independently, and with a team, and be able to see a project through with Contract Documents.
