We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic swim instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching individuals of all ages the necessary swimming skills in a safe and supportive environment. The position would require travel to and from different homes around Los Angeles to teach private swim lessons to children ages 2 years and older. The schedule would be part-time to start, and flexible depending on the candidates availability, but could grow to become a full time position if desired (and depending on demand).
Duties:
- Instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Provide fun and engaging swim lessons
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress
- Ensure a safe and clean pool environment
- Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on progress
Qualifications:
- 5+ years previous experience in swim instruction
- Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid
- Good with children and enjoys working with them
- Committed but flexible, with a reliable car and valid license/insurance
- Experience in physical education, children's education, childcare, or sports coaching is a plus
- Ability to educate and motivate students effectively
- Interest in creating a fun and positive experience
Company will provide paid training, and will require a background check and references (3 professional, 3 personal), prior to start.
