We are seeking a dedicated and driven private tutor to instruct our child who is currently in the First grade. As a Tutor, you will be instructing concepts in multiple subjects including but not limited to reading comprehension, writing & grammar, math, and science subjects. Please indicate your area of expertise and subjects you can teach! This position is in-person.
Duties:
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and resources
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
Preferred:
- Experience working with elementary students in an educational setting.
- A teacher who loves to teach and is enthusiastic, energetic, but grounded!
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Social Sciences, Sciences, or other.
