Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in our 2-year-old-classroom. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will implement engaging curriculum activities that promote literacy, math skills, and overall child welfare while ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management techniques.
Conduct literacy education activities that enhance reading and writing skills.
Incorporate math concepts into daily activities to promote early numeracy skills.
Monitor and assess students' progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom conducive to learning.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
Strong behavior management skills are needed to maintain a positive classroom environment.
Experience in literacy education, particularly for preschool-aged children.
Knowledge of daycare operations and child welfare practices.
Proficiency in basic math concepts suitable for young learners.
Previous experience working with students in an educational setting.
Background in childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
Ability to develop an engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschoolers.
Must have a minimum of 6 ECE units or be willing to enroll in coursework
Must have or be willing to obtain Livescan clearance
Passion for working with young children

Experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
