Our Montessori school is seeking for dedicated teachers to promote a positive change in children through a curriculum fostering collaboration, community and peace, with a current opening for a Primary Preschool teacher and a Primary Preschool assistant teacher. You will be part of a team overseeing children ages 3-6 on the playground, in nap and in our aftercare program while completing our dedicated work periods.
We are dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of each child and staff member alike. We offer extensive team training and promote professional development in AMI (Association Montessori International) education to interested employees and advocate lifelong learning for all.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience (but willing to train ideal candidate)
Early Childhood Education (ECE) units preferred
Confidence and experience with the 3-6 age group
Knowledge and interest in the Montessori method
Reliability and professionalism
Warm and compassionate demeanor
Collaborative and flexible work style
Must pass the LifeScan fingerprint testing through the Department of Justice
