We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Jiu-Jitsu Coach to join our team and help us achieve this mission!
Job Description:
As a Kids Jiu-Jitsu Coach at EDJ Stevenson Ranch, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu classes for children. You will play a crucial role in developing their skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jiu-Jitsu, experience working with children, and a passion for teaching and mentoring young students.
Responsibilities:
Teach age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu classes for children of various skill levels.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Assist with the planning and execution of events, demonstrations, and competitions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training area.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience and proficiency in Jiu-Jitsu (Black Belt preferred, but not required).
Previous experience coaching or teaching children in martial arts or other activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a fun, motivating, and supportive environment.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Background check clearance (required).
