Office Assistant- Full Time

Full-Time Office Assistant (Granada Hills) - Must reside within close proximity to our home office located in Granada Hills (no more than 20-30 min drive)

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 HOURLY (depending on experience)

employment type: full-time; this is NOT a remote offsite position, you will be required to work in our office and be extremely punctual and reliable

WHO WE ARE:

We are a licensed Class B General Contractor company that specializes in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and reconstruction.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a reliable, intelligent individual who is a fast learner and can multi-task in a high-volume office setting. The right individual will be wearing many hats within the company. We are looking for someone long-term and full-time, so if this is an “in-between” job for you, please do not apply, as the training process is intensive, and we do not want you to waste your time or ours.

PERSONALITY TYPE:

The right person for this job is organized, has COMMON SENSE, is detail-oriented, and can take direction.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- ADVANCED MICROSOFT OFFICE – Word, Excel, Outlook

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Spanish is a plus, but not necessary

- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is REQUIRED

- Excellent Customer Service Skills including proper email composure and proper grammar

- Daily Scheduling and Calendar Upkeep

TASKS

The tasks include but are not limited to answering a multi-line phone system; customer service; coordinating, scheduling appointments, and entering appointments in Google Calendar; keeping track of and ordering inventory; checking out equipment and materials; finding vendors when necessary; writing estimates with direction from supervisor; A/R and A/P skills utilizing QuickBooks; Provide assistance to all our staff, and company CEO. Must be a team player in a small, family-oriented environment.

COMPENSATION: $20 - $23 per hour

Please note, that this is a NON-SMOKING environment.

CURRENT SCHEDULE (schedule is subject to change):

8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
