Customer Service Associate
A large distribution company in Vernon, CA, is looking for an organized, self-motivated professional with excellent communications skills to work in our California location.
Job Description:
Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Investigate and resolve customer needs, and communicates them to the sales department as well as the shipping/ receiving department
Promptly and accurately process multiple phone and inbound email orders
Maintain customer service standards, policies and procedures for the department
Communicates and deliver reports concerning orders to Executive Management on a consistent basis
Process and follow through on 50 plus orders/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years Account Management experience preferred
Sense of urgency
Strong data processing skills
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Customer Service
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-up on tasks, delegate duties and train subordinates on processes, product, services and company regulations
Motivational, listening, problem-solving skills, tact and diplomacy when dealing with complex problems with internal departments (sales and procurement) and customers.
Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to work M-F for full 8 hours
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
COMPENSATION:
19.00-22.00 Hourly (based on experience and qualifications)
PHYSICAL SETTING: Office
REMOTE WORK: No
