Immediate opening for Inglewood Service Center Manager.

Providing service since 1976, Mike Diamond Plumbing, Heating, A/C and Electrical has proudly built a reputation as the top Plumbing and HVAC service company in Southern California.

We are seeking a motivated, detailed oriented individual to manage the daily operation of our service center servicing the West Los Angeles area. This is a golden opportunity to FAST TRACK your management career. Assist field personnel, invoicing, customer service and office management.

The Branch Manager directs daily operations of the Service Department by successfully performing the following tasks, duties and responsibilities:

Provides technical support for Technicians and Trainees to meet service demands and customers’ expectations

Manage, develop and lead plumbing service staff by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and reviewing the performance of all staff employees.

Supervise and reviews Technicians and Trainees’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques and safety requirements; makes recommendations as needed to improve quality and productivity

Establishes and maintains a regular training program to ensure that Technicians and Trainees are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procedures for equipment and general working conditions

Communicates regularly with the Dispatch Dept. to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and training requirements

Reviews work orders and repair recommendations for accuracy

Specifies and makes sure that required parts are ordered in timely fashion to ensure work deadlines are met through the Warehouse Dept.

Ensures that all company/department policies are being followed by all Technicians and Trainees

Work with other departmental managers to meet company and departmental goals and objectives

Direct contact with customers via phone/email/text for scheduling, answering questions, handling concerns, etc. to ensure excellent customer service

Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The qualified applicant must have supervisory experience, possess excellent communication and follow up skills (both orally and written), and be computer proficient. Must have good DMV driving record and be drug-free.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Computer literate.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers, coworkers and management.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES:

Valid California driver’s license and be able to pass insurance requirements
