Job Description:

Position Summary: The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the parts department of our auto body shop. This role involves managing inventory, ordering parts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that the shop's parts needs are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will also be fluent in Spanish to communicate with our diverse customer base and team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure adequate supplies of parts and materials.

Ordering Parts: Order parts and supplies from vendors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.

Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers and staff, including answering inquiries and resolving parts-related issues.

Team Coordination: Work closely with the repair team to ensure parts availability aligns with repair schedules.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of parts orders, usage, and inventory levels.

Spanish Communication: Utilize Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers and staff.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in parts management or a related role in the auto body or automotive industry.

Spanish Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish, is preferred.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of auto parts, repair processes, and inventory management.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Computer Skills: Proficient in using CCC One and Microsoft Office Suite.
