Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Coordinator with at least two years of experience in a payroll department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining adequate records and reports. You must be able to work 4 days/week ONSITE In Lancaster. After a few months of training, they will be more flexible to work 2-3 days/week remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out payroll operations in accordance with established policies and regulations.

2. Collect, compile, and verify payroll data such as working hours, benefits, and deductions.

3. Process payroll-related documentation such as new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.

4. Review and resolve payroll discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

5. Liaise with the HR department to ensure efficient data transfer regarding new hires, terminations, and wage updates.

6. Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the HR manager.

7. Provide payroll information to employees, addressing any queries they may have.

8. Manage payroll tax filings, reporting, and address any payroll tax issues.

9. Work collaboratively with the finance department to verify financial records.

10. Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee data.

Requirements:

1. At least two years of payroll management experience.

2. Proficiency in payroll software, preferably with knowledge of ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or similar.

3. Strong numerical skills and keen attention to detail.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Knowledge of standard payroll procedures and best practices.

6. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

7. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations relating to payroll.

8. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field may be required.

9. Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
