CMH Label Group, the independent record label, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant in our L.A. Office. CMH is home to four major brands: Vitamin String Quartet, Rockabye Baby, Pickin’ On and the CMH Legacy Recordings.
The Accounting Associate will be processing and reconciling financial data with a focus on accounts receivable. This includes customer invoicing, payment processing, monthly statements, collections and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, good at problem solving, have strong communication skills and have a positive attitude.
Key tasks include:
Timely invoicing and collection of payments
Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Resolve any discrepancies
Weekly/monthly credit card reconciliations and receipt collection
Weekly/monthly bank account reconciliations
Follow up on overdue invoices
Assist with month-end closing
Maintain office social calendar
Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Proficiency in excel and knowledge of Sage is a plus. Must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to produce accurate, high-quality work with consistency.

Compensation will be in the range of $22.00 - $30.00/hour
