Position: Part-Time up 32 or 35 hours a week with some FLEX Hours. Full Charge Bookkeeper & Assistant Tax Preparer. (in house bookkeeper)
Hourly rate will depend on experience & a simple bookkeeping test.

A growing Tax and Bookkeeping Firm in Calabasas is looking for a highly organized and detail- oriented individual. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bookkeeper job duties include but are not limited to:
Full Charge Bookkeeping from Bank Reconciliation to Financial Statements on Quickbooks Desktop and Online. QBOA must have prior experience and required. Must have knowledge is required of the software.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 year of full charge bookkeeping experience working in an public accounting office or firms.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
Must be a fast typist
MUST have organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to Communicate with Clients via phone
Must understand Debits & Credits
Other Bookkeeping & Projects as Needed
Record payroll and tie into the quarterly payroll tax returns & annual payroll tax returns.
Organize and mail out W-2s/W-3s
Preparation of 1099s/1096s
Preparation of Quarterly/Annual Sales Tax Returns
Preparation of Quarterly Financial statements.
Preparation of Annual Business Licenses
Preparation of Form 571
Organize clients income tax documents and set up tax files.
Must be available to certain Saturday during tax season. (January 2-April 30 & September 1-October 17)
Must have great research skills and be resourceful
Ability to work in a team and learn quickly
Ability to multitask, be flexible, to work quickly and deliver under tight deadlines in a calm manner
Desire and ability to grow with the position
