Description We are seeking a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team in Long Beach, California. As a Property Administrator, you will be involved in a variety of functions related to property management and leasing. The role offers a contract employment opportunity, providing you with the chance to utilize and further develop your skills in the real estate industry.Responsibilities: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with prospective clients, property managers, and maintenance staff. Assist in the implementation and compliance of new and existing laws related to property management and leasing. Coordinate the placement and updating of marketing materials such as banners, lock boxes, balloons, bandit signs, flags, etc. Ensure open and effective communication with Property Managers and Maintenance staff. Handle leasing activities including completion of applications, securing deposits, and execution of lease agreements in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising initiatives and maintain information about market competition. Provide detailed information about the property and the community to prospective clients, schedule property visits, and ensure all client queries are answered promptly. Inspect vacant units regularly, take advertisement photos, post online, and submit work orders as needed. Maintain an accurate and thorough knowledge of all aspects of the property, including leasing and pricing information, availability, expiration of leasing contracts, and property sizes. Support overall marketing strategies and suggest techniques that can assist in the promotion, advertising, and marketing of properties. Skills: Proficiency in Real Estate - Leasing, Leasing Consultant, Equipment Leasing, Real Estate, Real Estate - Residential Familiarity with Lease Agreements, Lease Administration, Lease Contracts, Lease Documents, Real Estate Leases. Requirements Demonstrable experience in property administration, with at least one year in a similar role. Proficiency in real estate leasing, including residential and commercial properties. Experience as a leasing consultant, managing lease agreements, administration, contracts, and documents. Knowledge of equipment leasing and its implications on property management. Familiarity with real estate leases and their administration. Strong understanding of property management in the context of the broader real estate industry. Proven ability to manage residential real estate properties effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to tenants and property owners. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about property management. Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant computer applications.
