Description We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team and manage payroll processes efficiently for our 60 employees. The Payroll Clerk will play a crucial role in processing payroll accurately and on time using ADP software. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a manual payroll processing environment.Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for 60 employees accurately and in a timely manner using ADP software.
Enter new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other payroll-related changes into the system.
Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings.
Review timecards, attendance records, and other payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Maintain accurate payroll records and files in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with other payroll-related projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a manual payroll environment.
Proficiency in ADP software is required.
