Position Overview: As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and revenue generation for our manufacturing company. Operating primarily from our Long Beach office, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting them into customers. This role requires a proactive and results-driven approach to sales, combined with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of our products and services. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers within the target market segments. Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media, to generate leads and initiate contact with prospects. Qualification and Needs Assessment: Engage with leads to understand their needs, challenges, and buying criteria. Conduct thorough qualification assessments to determine their fit for our products and services, and tailor sales pitches accordingly. Product Presentations and Demonstrations: Educate prospects about our products and services through effective presentations and demonstrations. Highlight key features, benefits, and value propositions to address prospect pain points and generate interest. Sales Negotiation and Closing: Develop and execute sales strategies to move prospects through the sales pipeline and towards closing. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospects to secure new business and achieve revenue targets. Relationship Building and Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and issues, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using CRM software. Generate regular reports and forecasts for management, providing insights into sales trends, opportunities, and challenges. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in inside sales, outbound calling, or telemarketing, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector. Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and lead generation. Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
