Description A Full Charge Bookkeeper has become available with one of our clients. In this Full Charge Bookkeeper position, you will regulate journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The clerical staff will report to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. We are looking for an accounting professional who is able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and is self-driven and organized. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Long Beach , California area.Your responsibilities in this role
Condense business license and gross receipts
Oversee Accounts Receivable
Provide cash flow projections, as needed
Other unique projects when they come up
Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Iron out subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation
Maintain Accounts Payable
Maintain monthly accounting close
Log budget transfers
Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Practical knowledge of Month-end Financial

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

Well-founded grasp of month end closings
Basic Bookkeeping experience desired

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
