Your role centers on developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients and their support networks to attain treatment objectives, and organizing psychoeducation groups and tailored interventions to enhance quality of life and functional capabilities. This position is pivotal in fostering holistic well-being and fostering positive outcomes within the client community.Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Specialistis responsible forprovidingdaily client care, including conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and addressing client concerns.
Theyfacilitatemultidisciplinary treatment teams and work with admission and discharge staff to ensureappropriate treatmentoutcomes.
The Clinical Specialistis responsible fortraining staff, reviewing authorizations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
They serve as a contact point between facility departments, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective treatment and positive experiences.
Works together as an active member of the treatment team to uphold standards of competency amongst the team by collaborating with other clinical specialists.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
Requires a minimum of a M.A. or M.S. in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
Experience
Requires a minimum of two years’ experience or training working in a mental health program serving persons with severe and persistent mental disabilities. Population experience must include those experiencing psychosis or severe mood dysregulation.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: CPR/BLS certification
Required: National Provider Number (NPI)
Preferred: Driver’s license
Preferred: Registered intern, licensed or licensed eligible as Psychologist, MFT, LCSW, LPCC
