Description Job Summary:As a Case Manager with focus in veteran resource enrollment and education, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advocating for veterans by facilitating their enrollment in various resources and educational programs. This position requires a Master's degree in a related field and a strong commitment to assisting veterans in achieving their goals. You will collaborate with government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations to ensure veterans receive comprehensive support and access to the resources they need.Responsibilities:Assessment and Planning:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of veterans' needs, including educational goals, employment aspirations, and overall well-being.

Develop personalized plans to address veterans' unique challenges and opportunities.

Resource Enrollment:

Assist veterans in navigating and enrolling in available resources such as healthcare services, housing assistance, vocational training, and mental health programs.

Stay informed about changes in policies and programs that may impact veterans' eligibility for various benefits.

Education Support:

Collaborate with educational institutions to facilitate veterans' enrollment in academic programs, vocational training, and certification courses.

Provide guidance on available educational benefits, including GI Bill and other financial assistance programs.

Advocacy and Liaison:

Advocate on behalf of veterans to ensure they receive the support and resources needed to achieve their goals.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community organizations, and educational institutions.

Monitoring and Follow-Up:

Monitor veterans' progress in resource enrollment and educational pursuits.

Conduct regular follow-up to address any challenges and modify plans as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each veteran's case, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Generate reports to track program effectiveness and outcomes.

Crisis Intervention:

Provide crisis intervention and support services to veterans facing immediate challenges.

Collaborate with mental health professionals and other specialists as necessary.

Professional Development:

Stay abreast of developments in veteran services, educational opportunities, and relevant policies.

Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

Relevant experience in case management, particularly with a focus on veterans' services.

Knowledge of veterans' benefits, including education and healthcare programs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural competency.

Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
