Job Summary: As an Associate involved in the production of Semiconductor materials you will focus on the fabrication of Infrared Materials for Raytheon Vision Systems, a manufacturer that provides leading edge sensing technology. We are looking for an individual who must demonstrate a safety-first routine. Work consists of a combination of routine production and non-routine engineering support under minimal or no supervision. You will be following ISO controlled process procedures in an environmentally controlled, semiconductor (cleanroom) environment that required handling of fragile materials and potentially hazardous process chemicals; this will require use of personal protective equipment. You will draw from your experiences in a related field to assume responsibilities for managing your work area and nominal operation of a laboratory. You will participate in production meetings, actively participating in schedule and priority discussions, work with colleagues to assure optimal workflow. 1st Shift– 7:00AM – 4:00PM– Lompoc, CA. This position is an onsite role. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Responsible for production execution in a semiconductor laboratory/cleanroom environment
Thorough understanding of the technical aspects associated with your assigned process and ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues.
Use a computer to access work instructions, make technical calculations, timekeeping, perform data entry and on-line training.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience with manual and semi-automated processing equipment
Minimum 1 year of Wafer Fabrication experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Chemical Mechanical Polishing, Grinding and Scrub Processes
Experience with CMP operations, including wafer slurry mixtures.
Experience with safe handling of process chemicals such as acids and solvents, including use of personal protective equipment.
Experience with metrology equipment, measurement systems and visual inspections
Experience with common instruments and tooling for high tech fabrication and assembly to achieve measurement and dimensional targets
Experience with statistical Process Control

Additional Information:
The salary range for this role is 22.12 to $52.88; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
