Pool Employee Level 1 - Plant 2 (Nights)

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).Performed indoors in a poultry processing/packaging environment. Temperature levels will vary depending on where in the facility the worker is stationed. Some work is performed in.Large refrigerators or freezers and the temperature is much lower in these areas. Due to the use water during the sanitation of equipment and processing operations the humidity and overall moisture levels are high in most indoor processing areas. All workers are required to wear the appropriate PPE needed to perform the duties of their respective position. This may include but is not limited to bump caps, hairnets, rubber boots, ear protection, protective gloves, and eye protection. Tools used in this position will vary depending on the placement of the worker.See the Essential function for the individual job that the individual will be place in or is currently working in for a better description.Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.Salvager Trimmer:Separate bruised, damaged, miscut or diseased chickens and chicken parts.Use a knife to trim off edible parts of the product and place in tubs.Supply baskets to the line.Other duties as assigned.Breast Leg Machine AttendantSet up machines; install blades on machines for making necessary cuts.Monitor machines for any product miscuts.Change blades as instructed by line supervisor.Other duties as assigned.
