Description Robert Half is in search of a revenue accountant! If interested in this role in Livermore, CA, please reach out!Assists in the day-to-day activities and month end process to insure the integrity of the Revenue. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Verifies the accuracy of revenue on daily basis, analyzes revenues to insure they are recorded appropriately. Preparation of variance analysis to assist with resolution of discrepancies, Compiles data and prepares a variety of reports, Investigates questionable data. Resolves revenue related issues and follow-up on outstanding items. Prepare monthly reconciliations, reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors. Perform revenue accounting and reporting activities on a quarterly basis. Assist in development of revenue recognition policies according to company procedures and regulations. Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations. Assist in reviewing and recommending improvements to current revenue recognition strategies. Provide assistance and conduct job trainings on revenue to team when required. Responsible for ensuring that all activities are documented properly so that we are J-Sox compliant. Responsible for accounting projects that will be assigned from time to time.What You Need To Be Successful Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years accounting experience. Revenue Accounting 2+ years’ experience. Experience with Oracle business software. Proficient in Windows–based PC software packages including spreadsheet and word processing (Excel and Word, etc.) Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and proven problem-solving skills. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work independently. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of revenue accounting experience
Ability to work five days a week in-office

Oracle software experience is strongly preferred
