Job Title: CNC Lathe MachinistJob DescriptionWe are looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. The machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathes. Additionally, if you possess the skills to work with the person, it would be a valuable asset. You will be expected to inspect your own parts, including first article and in-process inspections. Our company supports industries such as Aerospace, Medical Device, Optical, and Semiconductor with complex parts and tight tolerances.Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Lathes
Inspect own parts (first article and in-process)
Work with a variety of materials, including titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, and torlon
Clock in and check with the lead for daily assignments
Perform tasks such as cutting material and sawing parts as required
Potentially run 2-3 machines at a time based on experience
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with setup and operation of CNC Lathes (3-4 years of experience will be considered if highly skilled)
Experience working with 4-axis machines at a minimum; 5-axis experience is preferred
Knowledge of Fanuc Controls
Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches with GD&T feature controls
Ability to perform first article and in-process inspections
Must have own measuring and basic machining tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Programming experience (SurfCAM/SolidWorks)
Experience working within an AS9100/ISO9001 regulated shop
CNC the person experience
Supervisory or management experience is a plus
