Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a sharp Building Facilities Technician to join an established, growing manufacturing company in Livermore, CA.In this role, the Building Facilities Technician will support ad hoc tasks around the company site depending on daily needs. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems and equipment. This role ensures that all facilities are functioning optimally and safely, providing a comfortable environment for all occupants.Daily responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Monitor and maintain building security systems, including alarms and access controls
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects
Provide support for event setups and other facility-related activities as needed

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field is preferred
Proven experience as a facilities technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions null
