Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, specifically in accounts receivable processes, and a passion for working in the construction industry.Responsibilities:
Generate and send accurate and timely customer invoices
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
Process customer payments, including cash, checks, and electronic transfers
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies
Prepare and maintain records of customer transactions and payments
Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure accurate invoicing and billing
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment inquiries and issues
Requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of construction industry billing processes and regulations is a plus
