Description: Scope of work are Commercial Rooftops installing and wiring of PV Installs.
-Range of voltages: 120-480v. not over 480V
-project size varies between 100KW - 2 or 3 MWs
-pulling wire, termination, panel board/disconnects. hanging equipment, running large conduit, 3inch EMT, rigid conduit
-installing/mounting AC electrical equipment. (AC disconnects, panelboards, etc.)
-pulling larger, wire, and terminating. (250+)
-running larger conduit. EMT/rigid. (2 inch to 4 inch)Questions to ask:
do you have an ET card or JM card? what's the number?
walk me through what AC electrical work you've done?
What type of projects have you completed? How many Megawatts?
what's your experience with larger conduit and disconnects (2 to 4 inch conduit)? EMT/rigid?
what's your knowledge on inverter, transformers, panel experience? What voltages?
Also important that they have knowledge of how to terminate inside switchgear during a shutdown to the busing. We call it “line side tap“.
