DescriptionThere is a need for a Tax Preparer with a firm in the La Mesa, California area. As the Tax Preparer your objective consists of taking care of State and Federal tax returns for individual and small business. This Tax Preparer is a great chance to contribute and is a great fit for candidates that are deadline-driven and thorough. This position is offered on a short-term temporary basis and is a great career opportunity for candidates looking to enter the Finance field. Apply immediately!This is a temporary seasonal position, where you will be processing primarily individual tax returns.What you get to do every single dayPlug in applicable data into Tax software application
Provide customer service to incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments
Conduct other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Perform a final check and invoice for form preparation fees
Call or email clients to gather fundamental information/documents
Manually produce transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
RequirementsExcellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Solid understanding of Complex Tax Return
Prepare Tax Returns experience preferred
Personal Tax Returns experience
Review Tax Returns experience preferred
Outstanding data entry skills
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
