Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract or contract-to-hire basis, starting immediately. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing receivables process. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payments processing, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections.

Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Prepare regular reports on receivables status and aging.

Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and disputes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes.

Maintain and update customer files and records.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
